The aim of the shop is to provide a service in the form of a shop to local residents.</span></div><div><span style="color:#333333;">"The shop is valuable to those who can not drive, and the elderly" Jeff Harris Operations Director says.</span></div><div><span style="color:#333333;">"Our office is just a mile away from the shop and we always try to support it by buying our stamps and tea &amp; Coffee etc. During the heavy snow before xmas it was a life saver to the less mobile offering bread milk and eggs etc."</span></div><div><span style="color:#333333;"></span></div><div><span style="color:#333333;">The shop received a grant to update the refrigeration systems but was very overdue a makeover.</span></div><div><span style="color:#333333;">H &amp; T Managing director Marc Thompson was asked if <span style="color:#000000;">he</span> would project manage the refit which he agreed and the company offered its decorators free of charge to carry out part of the refit. Dulux Paints kindly offered to supply the paint free of charge also.</span></div><div><span style="color:#333333;">Marc told us. " it is always difficult when you have multi trades working together on any project but when its such a small space its an even bigger challenge. The aim was to have the shop closed for as little time as possible.
